Bicycle day: Legalize Belarus released a non-fungible token (NFT) with an image of Jesus
The release of the token is dedicated to Bicycle Day. On this day, April 19th 1943, Dr. Albert Hofmann intentionally ingested 250 μg of LSD-25, becoming the first person in the world who tried LSD.
The token «Psychedelic Jesus» is continuing the design collection «Gods and Cannabis» that was presented in 2018. At that moment, Legalize Belarus released a series of five images: pagan gods Piarun, Mokash, Jaryla, Dazhboh, and Saint Mary.
The mushrooms and plants presented in a halo are Psychotria viridis (contains DMT), the component of South American ayahuasca, «magic mushrooms» Psilocybe semilanceata, and the cactus Lophophora williamsii (a natural source of mescaline). All the substances, and also LSD, belong to the class of psychedelics. Scientific studies show benefits of their use in treatment of mental disorders, including alcohol and tobacco addiction, and their moderate safety profile.
A token of standard ERC-721 with tokenId=834147 is available on Rarible marketplace. The buyer gets the identifier of a PDF-file in the InterPlanetary File System that contains an original vector image. All proceeds will go to the support of educational initiatives of Legalize Belarus.
